About Taylor
A Speech-Language Pathologist dedicated to delivering tailored services.
Taylor Soave is a New York and New Jersey licensed Speech-Language Pathologist. She holds a Certificate for Teaching Students with Speech-Language Disabilities (TSSLD) from the New York State Department of Education and is a member of the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). She received her Master’s degree in Speech and Language Pathology from Hunter College.

Taylor has worked with children and adolescents of various ages targeting articulation, receptive, expressive, social-emotional, and pragmatic language skills. She has great experience planning and leading groups and/or individual sessions.
She has received certification and training in many programs for literacy and speech and language development such as Orton-Gillingham, Sounds-In-Motion, Recipe for Reading, and Social Thinking. Taylor is a continuous learner who has attended courses on Telepractice, Play Based Speech Therapy, Interventions to Improve Young Children’s Early Literacy Skills, Speech-Language Pathologist’s Role in Dyslexia, Language and Executive Functioning Skills needed for Writing, and Understanding and Managing Challenging Behaviors in Students with ASD. Taylor completed a 25-Hour Intensive Kids Yoga Teacher Training with Powerflow Yoga in order to better her own yoga practice and share mindfulness with her students.
Taylor believes in looking at the whole child to best meet their individual needs. Each child is unique and their therapeutic program should be tailored to them. Taylor aims to provide a fun and supportive environment for all students to become engaged and feel motivated to succeed. She prides herself in her ability to build rapport with families, as ongoing communication is critical to support a child in and out of therapy!
In her free time, Taylor enjoys staying active through tennis, yoga, and walks along the East River. She is a caring daughter, sister, and aunt who loves spending time with family and friends.
